Ausone is always a little unapproachable at first and needs a lot of time to show itself. In 2022, things are a little different: the nose is greeted by incredibly attractive aromas of ripe dark fruit and lots of fresh florality! Very complex and expansive on the palate. It will still need a long time to mature. The hedonism of this vintage will remain. 98-100 Fallstaff!
