When you taste the new vintage at the Château during the en Primeur week for the last few years, you always get the impression of a perfect wine. This is due to the great work done by director Frédéric Fayé and his team. But the great terroir and the perfectly matched (for St. Emilion) very unusual distribution of grape varieties also play their part. For us, the 2024 Figeac is the wine of the vintage! The risk of waiting for perfect ripeness in this vintage has paid off in full! You can immediately sense the great balance in this wine. Everything is finely interwoven. Ripe dark fruit, floral notes of violets, graphite and such fine acidity! The mineral hints and the pull to the finish leave you with great enthusiasm!
