The scent of strawberries and rhubarb wafts into the nose and the fruity strawberry notes are accompanied by a hint of brioche on the palate. The cuvée of Pinot Noir (35%), Chardonnay (30%), Pinotage (30%) and Pinot Meunier (5%) is incredibly rich and matured on the lees for 18 months after the second fermentation in the bottle. Enjoy the Neethlingshof Cap Classique Brut Rosé on its own as an aperitif, but the sparkling wine is also highly recommended with roast chicken in a marinade of honey and ginger.
