The Imperial Stout is a classic that is currently experiencing a renaissance and is being interpreted by many brewers in new, innovative ways. The flavor-giving elements of this beer magic are spicy Irish ale yeast and a generous portion of chocolate and roasted malts. However, the grain is not only responsible for the taste, but also for the wonderful color: Noctus 100 presents the color of freshly brewed filter coffee in the glass and tops itself off with a fine-pored crown of nut-colored foam. The aroma and flavor are a complex interweaving of dark roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate and candied red fruits.
