Aromas of citrus fruits and limes characterize the wonderful fragrance of the white wine and are accompanied by floral tones. On the palate, the full-bodied white wine, which has matured for ten months in oak, impresses with rich honey and nougat notes. The sweet nuances are in perfect balance with the citrus fruit aromas. As the wine lingers for a long time, it is a culinary delight on its own, but it is also a wonderful accompaniment to dishes with fish, seafood or a curry with poultry. Incidentally, the grapes for this complex white wine come from very old vines that were planted in 1905. As the yield is very low, only 2000 bottles of Rickety Bridge The Pilgrimage Sémillon were produced. The wine is part of the Icon Range and its name describes the route that visitors take to the winery.
