This gives the Schwechow Mirabelle plum fruit brandy a particularly velvety and sophisticated aroma.Mirabelle plums are grown as fruit in Central and Southern Europe as well as North Africa. In Central Europe, the main growing areas are in Lorraine, the Middle Rhine, the Palatinate, Mainfranken and the Black Forest. Our fruit, which is harvested in August, also comes from here and from our own cultivation in Mecklenburg.Our fruit brandies undergo a gentle, intensive maceration process during the distillation cycle. The resulting fruit mash from the fermented fruit is then distilled in the still and finally – in the column, the 3 bell bottoms of the plant – distilled off.Thanks to many years of experience in fruit processing and state-of-the-art distilling technology, the Schwechow fruit brandy is a real treat for lovers of the finest delicacies.
