More information about Yellow mirabelle organic fruit spread The yellow mirabelle is a melange of the true yellow sweet mirabelle (Prunus domestica subsp. syriaca) and different yellow cherry plums (Prunus cerasifera). These are found in gardens, orchards or wild along roadsides, where I harvest them.The taste of the fruits varies from sweet to slightly sour. This spread flavored with raw cane sugar is fruity and tart.
