Alongside the 2009 vintage, the 2018 vintage is one of the great „Ducrus‘ wines, offering rare concentration, power, density and structure with aromas of cassis, violets, tobacco and truffles. The palate is velvety and dense, with vibrant energy and perfect balance. The nobility and maturity of the tannins is breathtaking. Added to this is the fine acidity and endless length. A wine of aristocratic calm and classic Pauillac structure, which receives 98 points in Wine Advocate and 100 points from Jeb Dunnuck!
