Figeac has always been a little different. This is partly due to the unusual distribution of grape varieties, with 30% each of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, and partly to the former owner Manoncourt. Under his aegis, the wines were not so opulent, but rather elegant and refined, retaining their finesse and elegance while at the same time becoming cleaner and more powerful. The reward for this is the upgrade to 1er GCC A from the 2022 vintage. 2020 is an event of the century. It is a true monument and is probably one of the best of this almost perfect vintage.100 WA/JS
