In 1855, the château did not yet exist in its current form. Therefore, „Gloria‘ is not an official „Grand Cru‘, but it is a Saint-Julien of classic elegance and vibrant depth. Vinous awards a generous 96 points to this Bordeaux, which is full of ripe cherry, cassis, cedar wood and spices. The palate reveals polished tannins, clear acidity and juicy dark fruit. Everything is harmonious, with a cool finish and fine spice. A prime example of the consistency of the house and one of the most precise Saint-Juliens of the vintage.
