The Premier Cru is located on one of the best terroirs in St.-Émilion and shows time and again that a St.-Émilion can have the typical silky elegance, but does not always have to be fat and opulent. Delicate black fruit flavours, ripe tannins and the fresh fruit of this vintage make this 2019 a wonderful work of art. Now in the top league of the star appellation, La Gaffelière is still affordable and a real insider tip.
