Palmer 2009 is a blockbuster in a positive sense! Rich, complex black fruit that beguiles you from the glass. Black fruit, black olives and herbal spice. Pure silk on the palate! Finely interwoven tannins and again very dense dark fruit, plus dark chocolate and cedar wood spice. All in all, the 2009 seems somewhat Californian in its orientation, but this is also due to the vintage. It now offers maximum drinking pleasure and will continue to develop magnificently.
