„Sophisticated‘ is the right word to describe the 2018 vintage of „Pichon‘. It is a Pauillac with seductive density, depth and rich energy. Dark fruit, cocoa, cedar wood and smoke in the bouquet. Opulent but precise on the palate; the tannins are ripe, polished and silky, the acidity fresh and supportive. 97 points (Vinous, Suckling). A Pichon Baron with classic Pauillac signature, impressive density and a great future until 2050 and beyond.
