The red wine cuvée made from Syrah (60%), Mourvèdre (30%) and Grenache Noir (10%) reveals its multifaceted richness on the nose. Fruity aromas of dark fruits and spices are particularly present, followed by nuances of red cherries and raspberries. Notes of rhubarb and pepper successfully round off the first impression. Juicy cherry aromas, paired with cinnamon and smoky tones, make for a complex taste experience. Fine tannins and a noticeable acidity give the Guardian Peak a lovely mouthfeel. Enjoy this red wine, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak, either on its own or with aromatic dishes. Game, lamb or duck are particularly recommended.
