This special ageing process gives it its dark color and a full-bodied, spicy note.A floral bouquet with fine spices, herbs and citrus fruits unfolds on the nose. The sweetness of caramel and honey blends with notes of red wine, ginger and delicate oak in the background.On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and creamy, with a melange of baked apples, pickled pears, sour cherries and caramel. Herbs, wild fruits and oak are added later on.The finish is complex, characterized by oak and a warming malty sweetness, accompanied by a hint of citrus.
