Beschreibung
The „Plötzner? received its name from Plötznerhof, where part of the Pinot Bianco vines were harvested. The wine, which comes from 15 to 50-year-old vines above Sankt Pauls at 550 to 650 meters, was slowly fermented and matured in large wood and stainless steel. It smells of green apple, pear, white peach and apricot, hay, herbs and stone. On the palate this is a wine rich in finesse and filigree with a delicate fruit and beautiful acid structure and minerality. No wonder that the „Plötzner? in Italy is now often named as a synonym for good „Pinot Bianco.?
