The beer with the telling name Kerlig Hell is a bottom-fermented lager with a summery lightheartedness and a wonderfully soft malt bed. The Mainz-based brewery Kuehn Kunz Rosen attaches great importance to respecting old brewing traditions and craftsmanship when producing its fine beers. All their beers are brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law and are neither filtered nor pasteurized. The small sediment that remains in the bottle is part of the beer experience and also provides a little aroma kick if you swirl the bottle briefly before enjoying it. Kerlig Hell flows into the glass in a slightly cloudy golden hue and shines enticingly. A wonderful aroma rises from the airy foam that crowns this wonderful beer. Clean and crisp, typical lager aromas are complemented by a fine, floral hop note. A hint of tropical fruit in the form of mango, lemon and peach complements the aroma and makes you look forward to the first sip. This reveals a medium-bodied beer with lively carbonation and a subtle balance of hops and malt. Aromatic hop notes blossom on a stable malt base, accompanied by an elegant bitterness.
