Although the second wine from the Pichon Baron 2ème Cru Classé estate has a relatively high Merlot content of almost 50%, it still displays the typical Pauiilac aromas of its big brother. The 2021 shows aromas of cassis and tobacco and impresses with its interplay of juicy fruit, fine acidity and a surprising amount of pressure on the palate. A true Pauillac!
