Its shape and color are similar to rose hips, and it has an elongated, pointed stone. The brandy is highly aromatic, but has little in common with the traditionally known cherry varieties. It has a very intense floral aroma on the nose and also impresses on the palate with a strong, multi-layered and pronounced fruitiness.
