More information about Marder strawberry brandy Only when the harvest for the fresh market is over do we wait until the last berries have reached full ripeness. They are harvested in the morning until 8 a.m. at the latest when it is still cool and a few minutes later they are already in the cold store where they are gently fermented. If the temperatures here are too high, the whole aroma is lost. The strawberry has a very varietal, intensely jammy nose and is very pronounced, fruity and mild on the palate. This brandy is often drunk in the strawberry season when the fruit is also present and goes perfectly with a light summer menu or, for example, after an asparagus dish and with dessert.
