Don’t be fooled by the screw cap: the „BIN A Reserve‘ Chardonnay is without doubt one of the best wines made from this grape variety in Australia. The 2022 is no exception – quite the opposite. Erin Larkin calls the vintage a „superstar release‘ in Parker’s The Wine Advocate and awards it 98 points. Eight months of maturation in 75% new French oak combined with 100% malolactic fermentation give this Chardonnay a creamy, dense, full-bodied base. This gives its intense mix of flavours perfect stability: ripe yellow peach, curry herb, green olives and citric tones. Deep-rooted minerality ensures that the „BIN A‘ does not become broad despite its density.
