Blueberry jam, stewed plums and stewed berries characterize the bouquet, rounded off by a hint of fresh mint, which gives the wine a special freshness.“The cuvée of Malbec (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Petit Verdot (19%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Merlot (7%) is medium-bodied, fruity and velvety. The 16 to 22 months of ageing in French oak (new to third-use barrels) give the wine structure, depth and soft tannins. The stewed fruit aromas continue on the palate, accompanied by a harmonious mouthfeel and fine spice.Versatile, this red wine goes perfectly with hearty dishes such as braised lamb, fillet of beef or a spicy mushroom pan.
