More information about Tilmans Beers Export There’s a new addition to Tilman’s range of modern classics: Export completes the line-up with malty variety and hoppy sophistication. As always, Tilman attaches great importance to the quality of his raw materials. The Tettnang hops come from the Lake Constance region, while Tango is grown in the Hallertau. The barley also comes from Germany and is processed into malt in regional production. The fine export is then brewed from these ingredients under Tilman’s expert hand in the hallowed halls of the Gut Forsting brewery in the Rosenheim area. The recipe is based on the traditional Dortmunder Export, but has been modernized and interpreted.Tilman’s Export flows into the glass in slightly cloudy amber and is adorned with a white crown of airy foam. On the nose, the pale beer presents itself with delicate pineapple notes, fruity berry aromas, finely roasted malt and a hint of freshly mown grass. The first sip reveals a drinkable beer with a soft malt base, beautiful spiciness and an extra portion of hops. Notes of sun-ripened grain combine with hints of toasted malt and oven-fresh bread. The hops complement the aroma with a slight tartness and the juicy aroma of fresh, fruity pineapple.Incidentally, Andi Meier, an illustrator who is conquering the world with his toned masterpieces, was responsible for the label design.
