The slender Franconian flows into the glass in a sunny golden hue and is adorned with a stately crown of snow-white, light and airy foam. The beer, which is produced using solar power, shines like the sun and smells of sun-kissed grain. Strong malt also dominates the first sip before the hops come in and give the aroma a good dose of freshness. Malty notes of yeasty bread dough and grain are joined by aromas of tangy citrus fruits, spicy herbs, freshly mown grass and white pepper. A pleasant bitterness complements the interplay of aromas and increases towards the finish to create a crisp note. Weiherer Lager is a well-balanced classic that represents the Franconian art of brewing with honor.We like to drink the lager in the cellar, but it also tastes great with poultry.
