Markus Schneider is and remains an enfant terrible on the German wine scene. Not many winemakers would dare to blend the classic Bordeaux varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Dorsa, Syrah and Blaufränkisch. However, the result of this highly unconventional blend proves the Palatinate winemaker right. The „Black Print‘ is powerful, dense and spicy with intense cherry and blackcurrant fruit and a strong woody spice on top. Rarely in Germany do you get so much flavour in your glass at this price.
