The Centgrafenberg in Bürgstadt is without question one of the legendary German Pinot Noir sites. The iron-influenced minerality of the red sandstone soil from the Triassic period and a slope gradient of up to 40% predestine this Grand Cru site for Pinot Noir. Intense spice and minerality characterize the impression of the 2020 vintage. Of course, there is also a lot of Pinot fruit, but it is always surrounded by a highly complex blend of cool, herbal and mineral notes, complemented by smoky and nutty wood tones. A highly elegant, noble appearance that was awarded 96 points by STEPHAN REINHARDT for ROBERT PARKER – now at the beginning of its drinking maturity.
