Beschreibung
Wittmann’s 2015 „Brunnenhäuschen Großes Gewächs“ from clay marl, limestone and terra rossa is excellent to drink now. It has maturity, but is extremely fresh and grippy. On the nose, the Riesling is reminiscent of lime, grapefruit with zest, some celery, pear and stone. On the palate, there is an excellent density of yellow and white-fleshed fruit and citric notes. However, the Riesling remains fascinatingly lean, exciting and lively, with a silky texture and grippy tannins. This is great fun – also thanks to its great length.
