More information about Asara Cape White Blend 2018 The Asara Cape White Blend shimmers in the glass in an inviting straw yellow. As the letters CVC suggest, the white wine cuvée consists of Chenin Blanc (68%), Chardonnay (22%) and Viognier (10%) and impresses with its extraordinary complexity. Beautiful fruit notes such as quince, peach and lemon are accompanied by well-integrated oak nuances and mineral tones. The Asara Cape White Blend finishes with a long-lasting, fresh aftertaste. The two grape varieties Chenin Blanc and Viognier matured for nine to eleven months in oak, while the Chardonnay component of the wine matured in clay amphorae and concrete eggs. After blending, the wine remained on the lees for a further three months. Enjoy the Asara Cape White Blend with rich cheeses, but definitely also on its own.
