In keeping with the vintage, L’Evangile is slender, cool and with fresh acidity, but also very dense and extremely complex with intense black fruit and plenty of minerality and florality. In contrast to its big neighbor La Conseillante, it is somewhat more opulent, richer and darker in style. Exciting competition among the top Pomerols directly opposite Cheval Blanc! Very interesting in terms of price this year…
