Beautiful notes of cherries, plums and dark berries, violets, spring flowers and graphite, liquorice and cocoa characterise the „Trotte Vieille‘. It is a Saint-Émilion with classic depth and precise freshness. Dense but silky on the palate, with cool acidity and fine tannins. 96 points (Vinous). A vintage of great clarity and longevity. Jeb Dunnuck writes that it is a „wow‘ wine of this vintage, which can be drunk today or stored for two decades, and awards it 95 points!
