James Suckling awards an outstanding 96 points to Stephan von Neipperg’s wine. A Clos de l’Oratoire with a dense texture and silky spice. Sweet cherries, cassis, blueberries, mocha, violets, liquorice, tobacco and graphite on the nose. The palate is concentrated but finely structured, carried by ripe fruit, clear acidity and velvety tannins. A Saint-Émilion of balance and cheerful elegance with a drinking window until 2045+.
