This is also the case with the dark bock beer. Their Speziator dunkel is a modern version of bock beer, which can look back on a centuries-old tradition, especially in Germany. Speziator dunkel presents itself in a deep dark mahogany color in the glass and shows shiny reflections in beautiful chestnut tones when exposed to light. A creamy, hazelnut-brown head tops the beer and exudes a palette of wonderful malt notes. Freshly brewed coffee meets soft caramel on the nose, with a hint of dried red fruit complementing the aroma. The dark Speziator is malty on the palate: a strong, full-bodied sweetness washes over the palate and brings with it a range of dark notes. Caramel, red dried fruit, roasted nuts, fresh coffee and melt-in-the-mouth chocolate pamper the tongue.Speziator dunkel is an excellent celebratory beer that crowns any evening after work.
