Beschreibung
Red and yellow sandstone in a south-east exposure characterize the terroir of the Wachenheim Premier Cru site, which is not quite five hectares in size and of which 3.1 hectares are owned by Bürklin-Wolf. An unusually high proportion of limestone ensures finesse and acidity here. Tart herbs, densely interwoven with citrus and peach aromas characterize the impression of the Wachenheimer Böhlig. The wine is deep and compact on the palate, with fine acidity and a juicy, mineral finish.
