In 2007, Anton F. Börner founded the winery Omina Romana. From the very beginning, the estate ? located southeast of Rome ? has been defined by an uncompromising commitment to the highest possible quality. Börner’s winemaking inspirations go far beyond Italy, and his entrepreneurial mindset favors thinking „outside the box? ? clearly reflected in Omina Romana’s Viognier. A French grape variety, grown in the heart of Lazio and bottled under the estate’s premium label „Linea Ars Magna.? The boldness of this venture was rewarded with Tre Bicchieri honors from Gambero Rosso for the 2020 vintage.
