Opulence and fullness are the keywords for the 2019 vintage of Wachenheimer Böhlig. Pomaceous fruit and complex citrus aromas characterize the full-bodied, dense taste. The special creaminess of the wine is due to the traditionally long ageing on the lees in double barrels. This is accompanied by herbs and mineral depth, which, together with the acidity that permeates the wine and stems from the high limestone content of the sandstone soil, provide plenty of grip and also leave their mark on the long finish of the Böhlig.
