Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. What reads like the instructions for a Medoc cru does not grow in the Gironde, but once again in Tuscany. More precisely, on the very best plots of the 14-hectare single vineyard „Saffredi?. At 80%, the 2020 vintage has a particularly high proportion of Cabernet, with the remainder divided equally between the other two varieties. The „Saffredi? shows perfect balance between fruit and tannin, between powerful fullness and elegant appearance – highly complex and yet accessible at the same time. A wine specially made to demonstrate the enormous success of the „Super Tuscan? wine genre in general and the „Saffredi? in particular.
